The onboard diagnostic LED thing is a nice feature, but limitedly useful and I don't think the manual covers all the states. Serving well as a HTPC, though the chipset fan is annoying in quiet scenes. I think I got this back when newegg primarily used FedEx, and that's a GOOD thing. Cons: 1: The 40mm onboard fan went within a month or two and cost around ten bucks after shipping to replace. These days I recommend finding a fanless board, it cuts down on noise and maintenance significantly. It is an IRQ problem that you can get around by pressing F5 when installing windows at the point where it asks you to push F6 for raid drivers (push F5 not F6). It'll give you an option for a different type of install, which'll work around the APCI and IRQ problems (fixing it is the only thing that kept me from returning this nforce2 board. DVDs would stutter at times, and AVIs would jump ahead a few seconds randomly, plus other annoyances). I already have 4 PCI tuner cards (NTSC, 2x ATSC and DVB) as well as a Wi-Fi card. I suppose I could replace some of them with PCI-e - but it's much less of a hassle to simply get a top-of-the line Socket A motherboard instead. Cons: Northbridge fan died in less than 48 hours. Manual is missing some BIOS features - they are not even mentioned. Other features are explained very tersely (actually - what you see on the screen is restated in the manual).
